A new look for Columbia Capital

JOE DI STEFANO
Designer + developer
Two pages of the redesigned Columbia Capital site on a teal gradient: the navy homepage with its “Initiate, Invest, Build” headline over a duotone server-rack photo and a portfolio slider, and the About Us page with a team grid.

Columbia Capital is a leading investment firm that helps entrepreneurs build successful businesses. Their website was looking dated and wasn’t communicating their achievements or services.

Our goal was to create a website that reflected their position as industry leaders and showcased their success stories.

Branding

We started with design exploration to update the visuals and make sure they aligned with the company’s image and values: a refined wordmark, a bold geometric type pairing, and three accent colors set against Columbia’s navy.

The three accent colors, teal, bright blue and coral, each shown as a dot grid overlapping a navy square.

The website

General design updates modernized the look and feel of the whole site, including the header, footer, typography and other global elements. A new homepage brings together content from the old Home, About, and Strategy pages to give a clear, concise overview of the company. The Team, Portfolio, Sector, and Contact pages were redesigned to better showcase the firm’s expertise.
