Here’s to more Vermont-made ideas

Growing up in Cabot, Vermont, I had a lot of pride in seeing the Cabot name on grocery store shelves around the country.

As a kid, I wasn’t thinking much about branding or business—but I understood that this thing from my tiny hometown had somehow become known everywhere.

And Cabot wasn’t the only example. Vermont has always seemed to punch above its weight, with companies like Ben & Jerry’s and Burton growing from small towns and local ideas into brands recognized around the world.

I still carry a lot of that Vermont pride with me. One of my favorite parts of running a design studio is getting to work with businesses, nonprofits, and startups here in Vermont that are building interesting things and making a positive impact.

Over the past few years, we’ve had the chance to work with some incredible local organizations:

Mamava — We built an interactive 3D product tour that lets customers explore Mamava’s privacy pods before they buy, using custom-rendered assets to showcase a product designed and built right here in Vermont.

The Rowland Foundation — We redesigned their website to better tell the story of an organization investing in Vermont teachers and helping create positive change in our schools.

Rigorous Technology — We helped create a new digital presence for a Vermont robotics company building automation systems for some of the toughest jobs in manufacturing.

1% for the Planet — We created an interactive microsite highlighting environmental projects and the businesses and nonprofits working together to support them.

InSpace Proximity — We partnered with a Vermont startup rethinking how students connect with colleges and universities through immersive virtual experiences.

Looking across these projects, there’s a common thread: smart, passionate people trying to make something better—whether that’s education, manufacturing, sustainability, or everyday life.

It’s pretty cool to get to play a small part in that.
