Artist D.A. Therrien has been creating dramatic, high-voltage art spectacle performances in Europe, Asia and North America since 1983. His work utilizes machines, computers, information displays, high intensity light, robotics and live electricity in complex interactions with human performers/operators.
Designed to be enveloped by climbing plants, the restrained timber façade will evolve as it weathers to a silvery grey. The house surrounds two courtyards, giving a strong sense of arrival via a ‘gangplank’ where one can ceremoniously retreat from working life.

It involves hijacking these unconsidered fliers and redesigning them, over powering their message with a new visual language. Both the concept and the execution of this project are excellent. I especially like number 14, No Parking and number 18, Watch Found.
